Pero en la actualidad presenta serias complicaciones, fundamentalmente debido a la falta de una tecnica fiable de diagnostico, que permita establecer precozmente el fenomeno del rechazo.  el objeto de este estudio ha sido evaluar la validez de la citolog\u00eda por puncion-aspiracion con aguja fina (p.A.A.F.) Para diagnosticar y monitorizar el rechazo celular agudo, en un modelo de trasplante experimental de pancreas total con duodeno en el perro. Para ello hemos comparado los hallazgos citologicos de la puncion-aspiracion con los obtenidos mediante el estudio histologico de las piezas implantadas, utilizando el metodo del incremento total corregido (descrito por hayry y von willebrand) para la p.A.A.F. Y una evaluacion en 4 grados para las biopsias. Nuestros datos han confirmado experimentalmente el valor de la p.A.A.F.
