Rocio <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El transporte de nitrato muestra un marcado requerimiento por iones sodio, depende del mantenimiento del gradiente electroquimico de este ion y muestra inhibicion por sustrato, el requerimiento por sodio permite interpretar el fenomeno de inhibicion por sustrato observado en termino de un simporte na+\/no-3. Este simporte na+\/no3 suministra una base fisica para el acoplamiento del gradiente electroquimico de sodio y el transporte de nitrato.  el transporte de nitrato se encuentra sometido al mismo control por amonio que los enzimas implicados en su reduccion: nitrato y nitrito reductasa.
