Este analisis se ha llevado a cabo mediante resolucion por electroforesis bidimensional. Se ha aislado un gen, tsw12, que codifica una proteina inducida por estres salino. El gen se ha caracterizado a nivel de secuencia, estudiandose ademas la expresion tanto del mrna como de la proteina en diferentes tejidos y bajo el efecto del estres salino. De esta manera se ha determinado que el gen tsw12 pertenece al grupo de proteinas transferentes de lipidos y que se expresa en plantas adultas tratadas con nac1, presentando especifidad espacial en tallos. La acumulacion de la proteina tsw12 a nivel de tejido se ha determinado mediante tecnicas de inmunolocalizacion, localizandose en la epidermis y tejido vascular de tallos y peciolos de plantas tratadas con sal. Se apunta la hipotesis, ya propuestas para otras ltps, de que la funcion de tsw12 sea transferir monomeros de cutina.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
