En primer lugar, se ha detectado la actividad transcripcional en cromosomas politenicos de d. Rubobscura, mediante tecnicas de inmunofluorescencia indirecta, tanto en condiciones de induccion (choque termico) como de no induccion. En segundo lugar, se ha llevado a cabo la caracterizacion del gen de choque termico hsp83 de d. Rubobscura a dos niveles: 1) citologico, mediante el estudio detallado de la expresion del \u00abpuff\u00bb que codifica el gen hsp83; 2) molecular, mediante analisis de la proteina hsp83 por deteccion inmunologica, y por otro lado, determinacion de la estructura y secuencia nucleotidica de este gen y de su region promotora en d.
