La administracion de vecuronio produce, a las dos temperaturas estudiadas, un bloqueo reversible de la amplitud y aumentos significativos en las latencias y en los tiempos de deflexion negativa de los potenciales musculares evocados, sin variaciones significativas de la vcn. El bloqueo producido por vecuronio es mayor en su fase inicial a 27 que a 37c, sin que la temperatura afecte significativamente al bloqueo maximo conseguido ni a su duracion. Por otra parte, la administracion previa de fenitoina aumenta el bloqueo maximo producido por vecuronio a 37 pero no a 27c. Asimismo, dificulta la recuperacion del bloqueo neuromuscular inducido por este agente y disminuye significativamente la velocidad de conduccion nerviosa, a las dos temperaturas
