Se ha establecido una relacion entre las especies catonicas existentes en la disolucion \/ suspension precursora y las caracteristicas (conectividad cationica) del solido formado. Las principales variables a controlar son el ph y la concentracion de metal.  se han caracterizado varias fases cuya sintesis estaba descrita en la bibliografia: (i) vo (h2po2)2 h2o, (2) mn (h2po2)2 h2o, (3) co (h2po2)2; y tambien otras nuevas:  mcl(h2po2)h2o (m=(4) co, (5) ni), m(hpo3)(h2o) (m=(6) co, (7) ni) y m11(hpo3)8(oh)6 (m=(8)zn, (9) co, (id) ni).  para ello se han utilizado metodos de difracion de rayos x sobre monocristal (4,6,8) y tambien sobre polvo, tanto a partir de un modelo estructural conocido (2,3,5,7,9 y 10) como \u00abab initro\u00bb (1). A partir del estudio preliminar del comportamiento magnetico de estos compuestos se propone la participacion de los aniones fosfito e hipofosfito en las interacciones de canje
