Se ha realizado una justificacion del convertidor basada en tres factores diferentes: la naturaleza de la conmutacion, la topolog\u00eda del circuito resonante y su interconexion con la carga y el valor de la frecuencia de conmutacion con respecto a la de resonancia. Se han analizado y dise\u00f1ado los bloques constitutivos tanto de la seccion de potencia como de control. Se ha realizado el dise\u00f1o del transformador de alta tension empleado, caracterizando los parametros definitorios del transformador real de alta tension, realizando un estudio teorico de las funciones, impedancia de entrada, ganancia en tension y rendimiento del transformador en terminos de la frecuencia. Se muestran los resultados experimentales recogidos sobre carga resistiva y sobre carga laser, ambos bajo dos modos de conmutacion diferentes: el modo continuo y el modo pulsado.
