Tambien se evalua el poder inhibitorio de la aminoglutetimida (ag) en un grupo de 22 canceres mamarios ar+.  en cada muestra se cuantifica la ar, e2, re y rfce intratumorales. La ar se determina siguiendo el metodo de thompson y siiteri; el e2 intratumoral con un procedimiento de ria; los re con el procedimiento multipunto de scatchard empleando e2-h3 como ligando y, el rfce siguiendo un procedimiento de saturacion de doble punto que emplea fce-i125 como ligando.  se encuentra ar en el 64% de los canceres estudiados. Tanto la proporcion de canceres ar+ como su concentracion es significativamente mayor en pacientes postmenopausicas. Existe una fuerte asociacion de la presencia de ar con el tama\u00f1o tumoral en pacientes postmenopausicas (p=0.001) y de la cuantia de ar con el tama\u00f1o tumoral de las premenopausicas (p&lt;0.01). En el grupo de postmenopausicas la presencia de tumores ar+ esta significativamente mas elevada en los tumores re+ que en los re- (p&lt;0.001). Los tumores re+ tienen una concentracion de e2 significativamente mas elevada que los tumores re- (p&lt;0.0001), al igual como los tumores ar+ respecto a los ar- (p&lt;0.001). El empleo de ag 10 um in vitro produce una inhibicion promedio del 49% en los 22 canceres ar+ estudiados. Existe una correlacion lineal multiple de tipo logaritmico de los niveles de ar, re y rfce con el log de la concentracion intratumoral de e2 (p&lt;0.0001), con coeficientes de correlacion parcial positivos para la ar y re.  los resultados obtenidos sugieren la importancia de la ar tumoral para explicar el contenido intratumoral de e2, ref<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
