Pilar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El glutation (gsh) es el tiol no proteico mas abundante en las celulas de mamiferos. Este tripeptido tiene un papel esencial en la proteccion celular contra el da\u00f1o producido por el estres oxidativo, las radiaciones y la quimioterapia; ademas ha sido postulado como posible regulador de la sintesis de dna y, consecuentemente, de la division celular. Por otro lado, algunos aminoacidos precursores para la sintesis de gsh son esenciales para el metabolismo del tejido canceroso.
