Muchos flavonoides presentaron una actividad inhibidora significativa. 2) estudio del efecto de los flavonoides sobre la liberacion de enzimas lisosomales estimulada por fmlp en leucocitos peritoneales de rata. La mayoria de los flavonoides presentaron actividad inhibidora significativa. Para los mas activos se calculo la ci50. 3) determinacion de la produccion de interleukina-1 por macrofagos acumulados en bolsa de aire en rata. La gosipetina-8-glucuronido y el leucocianidol aumentaron significativamente la produccion de interleukina-1.  la inhibicion de la fosfolipasa a2 y la inhibicion de la liberacion de enzimas lisosomales podrian intervenir en el mecanismo de la accion antiinflamatoria de los flavonoides.
