Primeramente, se desarrolla una transformacion de color basada en procesos oponentes. Tales procesos tienen lugar en las celulas ganglionares de la retina. Para segmentar los estimulos visuales, se ha desarrollado una extension cromatica del modelo visual monocromatico bcs\/fcs de s. Grossberg.  sugerimos que nuestro modelo cromatico aproxima el camino de procesamiento del sistema visual: retina lgn v1 v2 v4 por otra parte, los procesos de reconocimiento se realizan utilizando dos arquitecturas neuronales basadas en la teoria de resonancia adaptativa (art) de s.  grossberg. Hacemos la hipotesis que estos procesos de reconocimiento estan ubicados en las areas del temporal inferior del sistema visual humano.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
