En concreto, se ha analizado el efecto que presentan sobre el proceso de polimerizacion las variables que de una forma u otra afectan al mismo:  potencial electrico empleado en la polimerizacion, concentracion de monomero, concentracion de electrolito, temperatura, concentracion de agua presente en el medio organico de sintesis y ph inicial de la solucion electrolitica. El estudio se ha desarrollado por tres vias: en primer lugar se han obtenido las cineticas gravimetricas para las distintas variables. A continuacion se presenta un estudio cinetico realizado a partir de magnitudes de tipo electrico. Por ultimo, se ha realizado un estudio electroquimico hidrodinamico con electrodo de disco rotatorio.  se ha constatado la existencia de procesos competitivos con el de polimerizacion, y la incidencia de los mismos en las propiedades del polimero. Se ha cuantificado la importancia de tales procesos y la interrelacion existente entre ellos.
