Cuando la celula lactotropa es expuesta de una forma cronica al deficit dopaminergico responde con una hiperplasia y al final con la produccion de un prolactinoma. Se cree pues que la hiperprolactinemia es el resultado de una disfuncion del sistema dopaminergico y su alteracion focal y cronica puede producir la aparicion de un adenoma secretor a prolactina. Se ha dise\u00f1ado el protocolo que intenta someter a prueba la hipotesis de trabajo que sostiene que la falta cronica de control dopaminergico esta en la base de la formacion de los adenomas secretores de prolactina. Al trasplantar la hipofisis bajo la capsula renal reproducimos el modelo de falta de control dopaminergico y ademas administramos estrogenos a altas dosis. En nuestro estudio la anulacion del sistema dopaminergico no ha sido suficiente para provocar cambios adenomatosos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
