El prototipo esta concebido como protesis sin cemento, adaptable por \u00abpressfit\u00bb, al modelo oseo en sus zonas metafisaria, diafisaria media y distal de forma independiente o combinada.  el material a estudiar consta del propio vastago y los primeros cuatro casos clinicos implantados. El metodo de estudio biomecanico consta de la simulacion de estados tensionales mediante la aplicacion del metodo de los elementos finitos realizando en primer lugar un ensayo experimental con galgas extensometricas. El metodo de estudio clinico consta del seguimiento mediante historias informatizadas del sistema internacional de documentacion ides ampliado con exploraciones complementarias con caracter de investigacion. El fallecimiento de una paciente permitio el estudio anatomopatologico de la pieza. Los resultados del estudio biomecanico demuestran que las tensiones originadas en la protesis no superan el limite de resistencia del material siendo el punto mas desfavorable el orificio sagital con margen de resistencia a vida infinita. El orificio sagital no se halla situado en la zona de maximas tensiones cuando el grado de abertura es medio concentrandose estas en la zona de apriete del tornillo. Los resultados del estudio clinico muestran concordancia con las exploraciones complementarias tanto en los casos patologicos como anodinos. El estudio anatomopatologico muestra imagenes de osteointegracion y crecimiento oseo en la hendidura.  las conclusiones son que el sistema distal de anclaje por expansion combinado con el metafisario y diafisario medio mejora el conjunto de fijacion primaria, siendo la expansion ideal de abertura media y la resistencia del material a fatiga de vida infinita.
