Para ello, se realiza en primer lugar una revision interdisciplinar dirigida a hallar las categorias basicas que han de emplearse en el analisis de dichas concepciones cuya conclusion es que las categorias mas pertinentes son las creencias y las ideolog\u00edas. Posteriormente, se lleva a cabo una revision historiografica de los grandes modelos ideologicos en que se ha configurado el pensamiento educativo en el mundo occidental y de la presencia de los mismos a lo largo de la historia de la educacion catalana de nuestro siglo.  a partir del marco teorico elaborado, se construye un instrumento de observacion (el \u00abcuestionario de creencias pedagogicas\u00bb) que es aplicado a una muestra de estudiantes de magisterio de la universidad autonoma de barcelona, a fin de realizar una primera exploracion de sus creencias
