Igualmente se hicieron necesarias, en un estudio introductorio, una delimitacion cronol\u00f3gica, una exposicion de los criterios de tratamiento de esta tradicion fragmentaria, y una revision de los principales problemas que ata\u00f1en a la tradicion del pensamiento ut\u00f3pico y politico antiguos. A continuaci\u00f3n, los fragmentos se organizan, en primer lugar, por escuelas, dedicando una primera parte al estoicismo, y una segunda al epicureismo. Posteriormente, en el interior de cada apartado, los fragmentos se han agrupado de modo que muestren un ascenso de los problemas mas concretos a los mas generales, lo que muestra una sistematicidad y coherencia en esta filosofias.
