En esta memoria tratamos de continuar y generalizar el trabajo hecho para aplicaciones continuas del intervalo y del espacio y = x3, en cuanto al estudio de sus conjuntos de periodos y ciertas orbitas periodicas, asi como de la entropia topologica.  el primer capitulo es un resumen del articulo periodic orbits of maps of y de alseda, llibre y misiurewicz, donde ademas se enuncian sus definiciones y resultados en el contexto de las n-estrellas.  en el segundo capitulo se obtienen las mejores cotas inferiores para la entropia topologica de las funciones continuas de y en si mismo, con el punto central fijo, dependiendo de sus conjuntos de periodos.  en la primera parte del tercer capitulo se definen ciertos ordenes totales en subconjuntos apropiados de n, asociados a los racionales de (0,1), mediante los cuales se caracterizan los conjuntos de periodos de las aplicaciones continuas de xn en si mismo.  en la segunda parte de este capitulo se caracterizan los nucleos de periodicidad total de las n-estrellas y se da un algoritmo para calcularlos.  el ultimo capitulo se dedica al estudio de cierta clase especialmente interesante de orbitas primarias de las funciones continuas de xn en si mismo, con el punto central fijo.  en primer lugar, se definen las orbitas fuertemente dirigidas al tiempo que se justifica brevemente su interes. Finalmente se caracterizan completamente estas orbitas en el caso n = 4, generalizando alguno de sus tipos para cualquier n-estrella.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
