Mostrar la narrativa como una cualidad que permite incorporar lo humano a una unidad que al quedar integrada adquiere significado.  la revision del discurso historico muestra el alejamiento de la historia moderna respecto de la forma narrativa que ha sido identificada con una historia tradicional basada en acontecimientos. Pero tambien nos acerca a la revalorizacion de la narrativa que se ha hecho desde la filosofia analitica.  los diversos esquemas explicativos que se presentan como alternativos al modelo nomologico asi como las tesis narrativistas permiten reconstruir los vinculos entre explicacion historica y la comprension narrativa.
