En el primero se investigo el efecto de 15 polimeros en solucion acuosa en la adherencia de \u00abpseudomonas aenginosa\u00bb a lentes hidrofilicas de contacto y a celulas epitelio-corneales.  de los quince, cuatro pdoxamers inhibieron significativamente la adherencia. En el segundo modelo se estudio el efecto del poloxamen 188 y del dextrano 20 adsorbidos a la superficie de nanoparticulas en la adherencia de \u00abpseudomonas aeruginosa\u00bb a celulas epitelio-corneales. El dextrarro aumento significativamente la adherencia mientras el poloxamer la disminuyo tambien de forma significativa.
