Para ello construimos un microprocesador computarizado para integrar y procesar las se\u00f1ales de la fraccion inspirada (fio2) y espirada de o2, la fraccion espirada de co2 y del volumen espirado. Los resultados obtenidos con la adicion de n2 y la combustion de metanol utilizando un modelo de pulmon artificial y los hallados comparando con la bolsa de douglas, nos permiten concluir: que el prototipo se puede utilizar en la clinica, en enfermos con vm, con una precision y exactitud inferior al 6% siempre que ventilemos con fio2 iguales o inferiores al 50%. La interposicion de una camara de mezcla en la linea inspiratoria no es necesaria para mejorar la medida de la fio2.
