Se determina la fmh por polarizacion de fluorescencia, utilizando 1,6 diphenyl 1,3,5 hexatriene, mediante un espectrofluorimetro aminco spf 500; la composicion lipidica de la memb. Htes. (Cociente colesterol\/fosfolip-c\/pl &#8211; , % ac. Grasos en los pl totales de la memb. Grado de saturacion y numero de dobles enlaces), mediante cromatografia de capa fina y cromatografia de gases &#8211; cromatografo carlo erba-); los peroxidos lipidicos en la memb. Htes. Por fluorimetria (tecnica de yagi) mediante un fluorimetro aminco spf 500, y el perfil lipidico serico.  la fmh se halla significativamente disminuida en los pacientes afectos de es, respecto al grupo frp y c.  la memb. Htes. De los pacientes con es presenta un reducido contenido de ac. Grasos poliinsaturados n-6 y del numero de dobles enlaces en los pl totales, y un elevado contenido de ac. Monoinsaturados n-9 y de colesterol (aumento c\/pl), correlacionandose dichas alteraciones con la menor fluidez de la membrana. Los peroxidos lipidicos se hallan significativamente elevados en la memb. Eritrocitaria de los pacientes con es respecto al grupo c y frp, y sus mayores valores se correlacionan con los menores valores de fluidez de la memb. De los hematies.  la fmh se halla disminuida en los pacientes afectos de es y no en los afectos de frp, permitiendo diferenciar ambos grupos. La mayor rigidez de la memb. Htes. (Menor fluidez) se debe a la alteracion de la composicion lipidica de la memb.
