De las especies descritas, 6 son especies nuevas.  el gran numero de ejemplares, aproximadamente 4500, ha permitido estudiar la variabilidad intraespecifica de cada especie. Este estudio ha permitido proponer diversas sinonimias en un gran numero de especies que simplifica las determinaciones especificas.  en el estudio bioestratigrafico, se proponen 6 asociados para el periodo santoniense superior- maastrichtiense inferior.  estas asociaciones permiten correlacionar los afloramientos del cretacico sup.
