La precision de las medidas realizadas es incremento de lamda\/lamda=6 x 10 elevado a -9 y la exactitud incremento de lamda=+-0.2 fm. El aparato cubre un rango de medida entre 400 nm y 1 microm.  este sistema forma parte del dispositivo de medida de frecuencias de un espectrometro raman srs y otro infrarrojo por diferencia de frecuencias opticas, ambos de alta resolucion.  por otro lado, se ha medido con una precision de 8 x 10 elevado a -9 diez y seis compactos hiperfinos de la molecula de 130tc2 en coincidencia con las emisiones de 476.5nm, 488.0nm, 501.7nm, 514.5nm, 528.7nm de un laser de ar+.
