Existen dos tipos de mecanismos de produccion:  procesos directos (fusion boson-gluon) y procesos anomalos en que se pone de manifiesto la componente hadronica del foton.  los primeros son responsables de la formacion de sabores pesados.  hemos estudiado las caracteristicas de este tipo de sucesos y las posibilidades de usarlos para medir la densidad de gluones en el interior del proton. El segundo mecanismo es responsable de la produccion del 90% de los sucesos con jets ligeros. Hemos realizado la primera observacion de sucesos de este tipo utilizando el detector zeus en hera, poniendo de manifiesto como el modelo es capaz de descibir apropiadamente los
