Para ello se han realizado observaciones fotometricas en el intervalo de longitudes de onda del visible durante cuatro a\u00f1os (julio de 1988 &#8211; agosto de 1992) y observaciones espectroscopicas de la emision halfa de una parte de la muestra durante un a\u00f1o (julio 1989 &#8211; agosto 1990). Dentro de la muestra de objetos observados hemos encontrado una tendencia general segun la cual las estrellas con una tasa de perdida de masa grande son las que presentan variaciones de brillo de mayor amplitud. En las estrellas t tauri clasicas observadas, en las que las variaciones de brillo se deben principalmente a la presencia de manchas calientes, esta tendencia se plasma en una correlacion entre la amplitud de las variaciones de brillo y la anchura equivalente de la emision halfa. Este resultado, junto con otros extraidos de la literatura, implica la existencia de una relacion entre la presencia de manchas calientes y el proceso de acrecion. Las manchas calientes han de ser, pues, las regiones de la superficie estelar sobre las que se acreta la materia del disco.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
