Las proteinas de 120 y 110 kda forman un dimero de 240 kda mediante puentes disulfuro. Se presentan evidencias de la posible actividad transfosforilasa de estas proteinas utilizando sustratos fosforilados. Esta actividad podria estar regulada por la adenililacion y\/o fosforilacion de estas proteinas.  la proteina de 130 kda parece presentar actividad protein-quinasa tanto sobre sustratos exogenos como sobre si misma (autofosforilacion).  las cuatro proteinas adenililables mencionadas son capaces de marcarse radiactivamente en presencia de otros sustratos alternativos, tales como el (alfa-32p)adp y el (adenilil-32p)nad+.  algunas lectinas, de origen animal y vegetal, inhiben los procesos de adenililacion y fosforilacion de las proteinas en estudio, lo que sugiere que estas proteinas podrian estar implicadas en la transduccion de se\u00f1ales dadas por las lectinas al interior celular.  en este trabajo tambien describimos la presencia en las membranas plasmaticas de una glicoproteina de 86 kda, muy probablemente con actividad fosfodiesterasa, que forma un intermediario catalitico. La fosfodiesterasa de 86 kda parece estar implicada en la desadenililacion de las cuatro proteinas adenililables de mayor peso molecular.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
