Se aisl\u00f3 sangre perif\u00e9rica d elos 52 pacientes y de 112 individuos sanos utilizados como control. Se procedi\u00f3 a:  1,- aislar y cuantificar adn s\u00e9rico mediante un espectrofot\u00f3mero.  2,- amplificaci\u00f3n del gen de la buturina mediante pcr para estudiar mutaciones de arho gen por secuenciaci\u00f3n directa de los productos de la pcr.  se detect\u00f3 adn tumoral en el suero de todos los pacientes con una concentraci\u00f3n media de 7,4 ug\/ml frente a una concentraci\u00f3n media de 3,6 mg\/ml en individuos sanos (p=0,0001).  el estudio de mutaciones de la btublina mostr\u00f3 la presencia de mutaciones en 21\/52 pacientes (40%). Todas las mutaciones se localizaron en el ex\u00f3n 4 y localizadas en dos regiones principales, regi\u00f3n 1 (casones 102-264) y regi\u00f3n 2 (codones 277-425). Las mutaciones en la regi\u00f3n 1 mostraban una tendencia hacia una peor supervivencia, frente a las mutaciones en la regi\u00f3n 2 que ten\u00edan tendencia a una mejor
