Se han comprobado varios modelos de generacion de series sinteticas para su aplicacion al dimensionado. Se describen varios procedimientos para el calculo de las componentes de la radiacion y se presenta una nueva correlacion entre los valores del indice de claridad diario y el indice de difusa.  se analiza la fiabilidad de un sistema fotovoltaico autonomo, en terminos de su probabilidad de perdida de carga. Se describen varios modelos numericos y analiticos que, para su calculo, han sido propuestos en la literatura. Se concluye que los modelos numericos son razonablemente pero muy complejos de utilizar, mientras que los modelos analiticos, en general muy simples, exhiben importantes defectos de exactitud. Se propone un nuevo metodo analitico, tan exacto como los primeros y tan simple como los ultimos. Para cada localidad, este modelo precisa del conocimiento de cuatro coeficientes.  se obtienen los correspondientes mapas para espa\u00f1a y se describe la forma de obtener tales coeficientes para
