Se dise\u00f1aron tres experiencias coordinadas secuencialmente y se utilizaron 275 conejas de raza california. En la primera experiencia se estudia el efecto luteolitico de 3 dosis de pgf2 alfa (100ug, o 200ug) inyectadas en el dia 28 de pre\u00f1ez y se obtiene una reduccion media de la gestacion de 34,6 horas y un agrupamiento del 88% de los partos entre el dia 29 y 30 postcoitum. Seis dosis de la misma pgf2 (100ug, 75ug, 50ug, 25ug, 12.5ug, y 6.25ug) se utilizaron en la segunda experiencia y se inyectaron en el dia 29 de pre\u00f1ez. Las primeras 5 reducen la gestacion en una media de 24 horas y la menor de todas en 15,8 horas. Se observa un agrupamiento del 93% al 97% de los partos entre los dias 30 p.C. Y 31 p.C. La dosis de 50ug presenta una mayor regularidad sobre los efectos observados. Esta dosis se emplea en el control rutinario del momento del parto en una poblacion de conejas (50), durante un a\u00f1o.
