Se investiga la dinamica elastica de las placas sandwiches ortotropicas con su aproximacion a isotropas para, a partir del estudio del sistema constituido por las dos ecuaciones del equilibrio elastico y la del equilibrio dinamico elastico, deducir la ecuacion del movimiento, que se resuelve y determina las pulsaciones de la vibracion natural. La aportacion principal de la tesis es la aplicacion del metodo de relajacion de southwell-dunkerley a la pulsacion natural para determinar la pulsacion de flexion y la de cortadura; y su influencia
