Fue realizado mediante el estudio intensivo de las practicas y las visiones cotidianas de los centros, y desde las tradiciones de investigacion de la antropolog\u00eda social de la educacion y de la etnografia escolar. Tras situar el marco teorico en el que situar las concepciones instrumentales de la escuela (como estructura racionalizada de medios y de fines), la tesis aborda el problema empirico de describir hasta que punto y con que matices la experiencia escolar reconstruye esas concepciones en dos centros concretos (uno publico y el otro privado libre); y hasta que punto tales concepciones se hallan
