Predecir el comportamiento fluidodinamico de estos equipos es uno de los primeros y fundamentales pasos en su dise\u00f1o y escalado. Se trata de la prediccion de la fraccion de gas en contacto con el liquido y la velocidad neta y\/o puntual del liquido.  el modelo utilizado en este trabajo, para ajusta los resultados experimentales propios y de otros autores esta basado en un balance de energia que tiene en cuenta, entre otros, las perdidas por friccion en la interfase gas-liquido.  se demuestra que para predecir los coeficientes de friccion en flujo bifasico, utilizando la ecuacion de fanning, es necesario tener en cuenta el perfil de velocidades del liquido en las zonas bifasicas.  el modelo propuesto es util para predecir el comportamiento fluidodinamico en equipos de muy diferentes formas y tama\u00f1os, con o sin recirculacion, con liquidos newtonianos y no newtonianos, en regimen laminar y
