El estudio se inicia con el analisis del metodo filosofico y de los rasgos caracteristicos del pensamiento de lacroix.  la perfectibilidad de la persona humana es tratada desde una doble dimension: el amor de si y el amor a los demas. \u00abPertenecerse y darse viene a ser el ritmo de la vida personal\u00bb: individual y comunitario son los polos de una tension por la que el hombre se realiza.  el matrimonio conduce a los esposos a una comunidad de vida especialmente apta para realizar la vocacion al amor a la que es llamado el hombre. En el seno de la familia el hijo participa de esta comunidad de vida.
