Carmen <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El importante papel que la serotonina juega en un elevado numero de desordenes fisiologicos como la depresion, la ansiedad, los trastornos del apetito, la esquizofrenia y la emesis inducida por quimioterapia, junto con el aislamiento y caracterizacion molecular y funcional de diversos subtipos de receptores ha provocado durante los ultimos a\u00f1os numerosos estudios encaminados hacia la sintesis de nuevos compuestos agonistas o antagonistas especificos para cada subtipo de receptor. En este trabajo describimos el dise\u00f1o, sintesis y evaluacion biologica preliminar de nuevos compuestos antagonistas del receptor 5-ht3.
