El modelo se llama go+po y permite estudiar cavidades electricamente grandes y con formas diferentes a las geometrias elementales (cilidros paralelepipedos).  para modelar las cavidades se emplean splines, un tipo de funciones parametricas muy usadas en general de imagenes por ordenador (cad).  el analisis de estas cavidades hace mas compleja la aplicacion de la optica
