Carmen <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En el primer capitulo se desarrolla una teoria general de polinomios ortogonales relativos a funcionales regulares no hermitianos, cuya diferencia fundamental con respecto al caso hermitiano radica en que asociadas a una misma matriz de momentos aparecen dos sucesiones de polinomios ortogonales. En el capitulo segundo se estudian modificaciones polinomicas de funcionales regulares y hermitianos mediante polinomios de primer grado y polinomios trigonometricos de primer grado, resultando que las primeras no conservan el caracter hermitiano de la matriz de momentos y por lo tanto se aplica la teoria general desarrollada en el capitulo anterior.  en el capitulo tercero se introducen los polinomios asociados de primer orden sobre la circunferencia unidad, lo que constituye un nuevo metodo constructivo de familias de polinomios ortogonales ademas de jugar un papel importante en el estudio de los problemas inversos, esto es, de las modificaciones racionales de funcionales, a lo que se dedica el resto del capitulo.
