Pilar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El trabajo de investigacion consistio en el estudio del proceso de ozonolisis en dos etapas (ozonacion y oxidacion) del aceite de oliva como materia prima para la obtencion de acidos mono y dicarboxilicos (acidos pelargonico y azelaico principalmente. Fue llevado a cabo en un reactor agitado que opera en regimen discontinuo y al que se aumentan continuamente mezclas gaseosas oxidantes (ozono-oxigeno y oxigeno-nitrogeno). El disolvente empleado fue acido acetico que resulto participante en la ozonizacion, influyendo tanto en el mecanismo de la propia reaccion como en los rendimientos de acidos finales. Se analizo la influencia de las siguientes variables de operacion: porcentajes de ozono en el gas, temperatura de ozonizacion. Concentracion inicial de aceite, temperatura de oxidacion, presion parcial de oxigeno en la fase de oxidacion y tipo de materia prima (empleando acido oleico comercial y aceite de girasol como reaccionantes). Se pusieron a punto metodos analiticos para la determinacion cuantitativa de reaccionantes y productos (intermedios y finales).
