A la primera se le atribuye una finalidad esencialmente didactica y se pretende y consigue que un usuario con una cierta preparacion clinica pero sin especial preparacion electronica o informatica pueda hacer visible en un orc convencional los principales sucesos electricos que tiene lugar durante la activacion electrica del corazon. Se generan en forma parametrica, las ocho lineas por las que se supone que viaja la activacion electrica por el contorno de las cavidades de un modelo bidimensional de corazon. Un sistema multiplexor hace visibles simultaneamente las ocho lineas en un orc convencional en el modox-y. Otro sistema, desarrollado para este fin, permite la visualizacion de la marcha del frente de onda durante los procesos de despolarizacion y repolarizacion de miocardio, haciendo uso del modo x,y,z del orc. Mediante un conjunto de circuitos de coincidencia se simula una region de corazon isquemizada que muestra las tres zonas, isquemia, lesion e infarto, bien diferenciadas.  para actuar sobre la modulacion de brillo se construye un circuito que combina la visualizacion de la repolarizacon con la del infarto de miocardio.
