Se ha llevado a cabo un cuidadoso analisis de la frecuencia de quiasmas en metafase i tanto a nivel celular como a nivel de cromosomas especificos. Estos datos se han comparado con los obtenidos en el estudio de dos mutantes meioticos (asy 1 y dsy 1), obtenidos en la universidad de birmingham (inglaterra). La metodolog\u00eda utilizada ha sido la hibridacion in situ mediante fluorocromos (fish) de sondas de adn ribosomico 45s y 5s.  el otro objetivo primordial de la tesis, ha sido la busqueda de mutantes semiesteriles en plantas de arabidopsis sometidas a mutagenesis insercional (t-adn). Posteriormente se ha estudiado la meiosis en dichos mutantes para comprobar si este proceso estaba alterado, y en caso afirmativo, caracterizar cual era la fase alterada. El siguiente paso ha sido comprobar el numero de inserciones de t-adn en estas plantas, la expresion de los genes alterados y la secuenciacion de uno de ellos. Por ultimo se ha comparado el gen identificado y su producto, con los datos existentes en otros organismos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Analisis
