Bel Queralt <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Desde la 2 mitad de los ochenta se viene realizando en espa\u00f1a una actuacion importante en materia de infraestructuras viarias de gran capacidad. La progresiva entrada en servicio de tramos de autovia ha tenido una doble consecuencia en los costes del trafico viario: ha resuelto gran parte de los problemas de congestion interurbana, disminuyendo el coste temporal del viaje, y ha aumentado la capacidad de dise\u00f1o de las vias, hecho que ha acentuado la reduccion en el tiempo de viaje por carretera. La disminucion en el coste temporal del trafico viario interurbano ha alterado la estructura de precios relativos en el subsector del transporte terrestre. La alteracion de la estructura de costes temporales para el usuario ha contribuido al aumento del trafico viario y a la reduccion de la demanda de transporte interurbano por ferrocarril. Esto ha sucedido a pesar de la evolucion relativa de las tarifas, favorable al ferrocarril, y ha agravado las perdidas de gestion de la compa\u00f1ia ferroviaria renfe, cuya oferta interurbana ha continuado creciendo.
