El principal interrogante de la fisiolog\u00eda celular cuando aparece un deficit del transporte de mtx como mecanismo de resistencia es como las celulas aprovechan los folatos del medio teniendo en cuenta que estos comparten el mismo transportador que mtx.  considerando las caracteristicas de las proteinas de membrana que unen folatos con alta afinidad (fbpm) nos preguntamos si en celulas resistentes por transporte estas proteinas podian constituir una via alternativa de internalizacion de folatos. Utilizando linfoblastos leucemicos murinos l5178y aislamos mutantes con grados crecientes de resistencia a mtx por transporte en los que se valoro la union de acido folico y se caracterizo la fbpm inmunologicamente despues de obtener un anticuerpo monoclonal utilizando como fuente de antigeno fbp purificada de leche bovina.
