Tambien hay que relacionar la concentracion de cargas libres con la radiacion absorbida por el catalizador. Este trabajo ha consistido en elaborar modelos de radiacion y hallar los parametros correspondientes a estos modelos. Mediante el desarrollo matematico apropiado se establece una funcion de dise\u00f1o que permitira optimizar las caracteristicas de un reactor fotocatalitico. Asi como explicar la influencia que pueden tener diversos parametros de operacion tales como la concentracion de catalizador, tama\u00f1o de particula y absortividad de la fase liquida en la eficacia del proceso.  estos modelos han sido corroborados mediante una reaccion modelo, la reduccion fotocatalitica del cromo (vi) en medio acido, y utilizando tres sistemas experimentales distintos a escalas
