Isabel <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La gamma-zeina (gammaz) es una proteina de reserva de la familia del maiz que se acumula en organulos subcelulares globulares ( cuerpos proteicos -pbs- ) derivados de reticulo endoplasmico (re). El objetivo de esta tesis ha sido tratar de identificar los elementos cis de esta proteina implicados en su retencion en el reticulo endoplasmico y acumulacion en cuerpos proteicos. Para ello se han construido distintos mutantes de la gamma-zeina, derivados de gamma-zeinas carentes de diversos dominios estructurales. Dichos dominios i la gammaz han sido expresados en un sistema heterologo (arabidopsis thaliana), donde se ha analizado el transporte de las distintas proteinas a nivel subcelular.  los resultados obtenidos han permitido derivar tres conclusiones fundamentales: la gamma-zeina es capaz de formar cuerpos proteicos derivados de reticulo endoplasmico en un tejido y sistema heterologos; la retencion de la gamma-zeina en el reticulo endoplasmico parece ser mediada por el dominio repetitivo n-terminal; la formacion de cuerpos proteicos derivados de reticulo endoplasmico parece requerir de un proceso adicional a la retencion de gamma-zeina en el reticulo endoplasmico, proceso que parece implicar al dominio c-terminal rico en cisteinas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Analisis de los dominios estructurales de la proteina de reserva del maiz zeina implicados en su retencion en el reticulo endoplasmico y acumulacion en los cuerpos proteicos.<\/strong>\u00ab<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>T\u00edtulo de la tesis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Analisis de los dominios estructurales de la proteina de reserva del maiz zeina implicados en su retencion en el reticulo endoplasmico y acumulacion en los cuerpos proteicos. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Autor:<\/strong>\u00a0  Geli Fernandez Pe\u00f1aflor M.
