El estudio analiza el sentido con que nietszche acu\u00f1a tal expresion en el nacimiento de la tragedia. La conexion del proyecto nietszcheano con el wagneriano lleva a establecer los modos de una ilacion a tres bandas entre nietzsche, wagner y strauss.  por ser elektra la recreacion de una figura tragica, la tesis establece los rasgos generales de la tragedia griega, las singularidades aportadas por cada uno de los tres poetas tragicos, y como estas circunstancias aparecen en los diferentes tratamientos del mito de electra, para posteriormente compararlos con el libreto de hugo von hofmannsthal. Por pertenecer este a un horizonte cultural determinado la viena de wittgenstein-, se ponderan los trazos definitorios de ese periodo en el que el surgimiento de la tesis freudianas es capital y presente en esta opera.  la conclusion presenta a strauss como un regenerador de la musica, merced al influjo de mozart, condicion que permitiria una conexion de la obra de strauss con el teatro
