Esta reacci\u00f3n , adem\u00e1s de representar una nueva forma de desproporci\u00f3n en la qu\u00edmica del cobre, supone la activaci\u00f3n de un enlace c-h arom\u00e1tico a temperatura ambiente que, a trav\u00e9s del estudio cin\u00e9tico de esta reacci\u00f3n de desproporci\u00f3n por espectroscopia uv-vios, del c\u00e1lculo del efecto cin\u00e9tico isot\u00f3pico utilizando el ligando deuterado en el c-h del anillo, juntamente con el apoyo de c\u00e1lculos te\u00f3ricos dft para la optimizaci\u00f3n de geometr\u00edas de intermedios de reacci\u00f3n, nos permiten proponer un mecanismo de reacci\u00f3n para nuestro sistema d\u00f3nde la activaci\u00f3n del enlace c-h arom\u00e1tico transcurre por la formaci\u00f3n de un enlace de tipo ag\u00f3stico c-h cu(ii), seguido de la desprotonaci\u00f3n del prot\u00f3n arom\u00e1tico por acci\u00f3n de una base y posterior.  en cuanto a la reactividad de estos complejos organomet\u00e1licos aryl-cu(iii) se ha observado que una base en medio acuoso la inestabilidad de estos compuestos, evolucionando hacia la inserci\u00f3n de un \u00e1tomo de ox\u00edgeno sobre la posici\u00f3n activada del anillo arom\u00e1tico, para dar lugar a un complejo dinuclear de cu(ii) con dos grupos fenoxo actuando de puente entre los \u00e1tomos de cu(ii).
