Pilar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El aceite de ricino (ricinus communis l.), Con un 85% de \u00e1cido ricinoleico (18:1-oh), es la mayor fuente natural de un \u00e1cido graso con un grupo oh, que tiene numerosas aplicaciones industriales. La hibridaci\u00f3n es ampliamente utilizada para un mayor rendimiento de semillas, obteni\u00e9ndose con las dos androesterilidades descritas para la especie, en una de las cuales existen lagunas sobre su herencia, y los estudios sobre los factores que controlan el contenido y calidad del aceite son escasos. Los objetivos fueron, establecer las bases gen\u00e9ticas de la androesterilidad en ricino, y llevar a cabo estudios gen\u00e9ticos del contenido y calidad del aceite de la semilla. De los cruzamientos entre l\u00edneas androest\u00e9riles sensibles, hembras entremezcladas, y de racimos monoico est\u00e1ndar, se determin\u00f3 una gran variabilidad en las formas sexuales, que resultan de la acci\u00f3n del ambiente y de tres sistemas gen\u00e9ticos con efectos epist\u00e1ticos entre s\u00ed:  1,- un gen con el alelo recesivo \u00abmo\u00bb para flores pistilada a lo largo de todo el eje de la inflorescencia (racimo \u00abhembra\u00bb), y el dominante \u00abmo\u00bb para racimo tipo \u00abmonoico\u00bb.  2,- dos genes dominantes, donde los genotipos \u00abh1-h2\u00bb, revierten la acci\u00f3n de \u00abmo\u00bb para formar racimos \u00abhembra\u00bb.  3,- genes de efectos aditivos que controlan la proporci\u00f3n de flores masculinas entremezcladas, del que se identificaron dos loci independientes con los alelos activos \u00abe1\u00bb, \u00abea1\u00bb, y el recesivo \u00abe1\u00bb para el locus e1, y los alelos activos \u00abe2\u00bb y \u00abea2\u00bb, y el recesivo \u00abe2\u00bb para el locus \u00abe2\u00bb. la evaluaci\u00f3n de una colecci\u00f3n de germoplasma mostr\u00f3 una amplia variabilidad para peso de 100 semillas, contenido en aceite, y para los contenidos en los \u00e1cidos oleico y ricinoleico, debido a la indetificaci\u00f3n de un mutante natural alto oleico (80%)\/bajo ricinoleico (14%), que se obtendr\u00eda con los genotipos \u00abol mlml\u00bb.
