Teniendo en cuenta estos dos ambitos de investigaci\u00f3n, hemos subdividido la fundamentaci\u00f3n teorica del estudio (part i) en tres capitulos. El primer capitulo detalla el contexto sociolinguistico de los aprendices de lenguas extranjeras en la comunidad Valenciana, que es el caso de los sujetos de nuestro estudio. El segundo capitulo presenta el estado de la cuesti\u00f3n en la investigacion en adquisici\u00f3n de tercera lenguas asi como las necesidades actuales que abordamos en el estudio empirico. el tercer capitulo se basa en la investigacion dentro del campo de la pragmatica del interlenguaje donde se conforma parte de la base teorica del estudio empirico que detallamos en la segunda parte (part ii). Al analizar la competencia i conciencia pragmatica de nuestros sujetos nos hemos centrado en un aspecto concreto: las peticiones. Las hipotesis del estudio se centran en (i) la influencia de la instrucci\u00f3n en la producci\u00f3n pragmatica de los aprendices, (ii) el desnivel entre competencia gramatical i pragmatica de los aprendices, (iii) la influencia del tipo de tarea o instrumento de elicitaci\u00f3n en la produccion de aspectos pragmaticos, i en (iv) la ventaja de sujetos bilingues al identificar i evaluar el uso apropiado de f\u00f3rmulas ling\u00ed\u00bcisticas de peticiones: los resultados del estudio emp\u00edrico han confirmado las hip\u00f3tesis planteadas casi en su
