Santos Ruiz <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los peces tele\u00f3steos poseen la habilidad de regenerar las aletas cuando \u00e9stas les son parcialmente amputadas.La reconstrucci\u00f3n de las mismas ocurre a trav\u00e9s de un proceso de regeneraci\u00f3n epim\u00f3rfica, que implica la formaci\u00f3n de un blastema: una masa de c\u00e9lulas indiferenciadas y proliferantes, a partir de la cual se generan todos los tipos celulares necesarios para la restauraci\u00f3n de cada uno de los tejidos de la porci\u00f3n amputada.  esta tesis doctoral se adentra en los mecanismos celulares que hacen posible la regeneraci\u00f3n epim\u00f3rfica en los tele\u00f3steos, centr\u00e1ndose en cuatro objetivos.  1,- establecer el origen del blastema, para lo cual se ha realizado un estudio de la proliferaci\u00f3n celular en las fases inciales de la regeneraci\u00f3n, mediante detecci\u00f3n de pcna y marcaje de linajes celulares con bromo-deoxi-uridina (brdu).  2,- caracterizar fenot\u00edpicamente las c\u00e9lulas implicadas en el proceso regenerativo, atendiendo a cuatro cualidades: composici\u00f3n citoesquel\u00e9tica, actividad biosint\u00e9tica, grado de metilaci\u00f3n del adn, y actividad telomerasa.  3,- caracterizar el medio extracelular a lo largo del proceso regenerativo, para lo cual se llev\u00f3 a cabo un estudio de la actividad metalproteasa a lo largo del mismo.  4,- estudiar la secuencia de acontecimientos que conducen a la reconstrucci\u00f3n tisular, lo cual se realiz\u00f3 un estudio inmunohistoqu\u00edmico de la s\u00edntesis de los distintos componentes
