De ah\u00ed su importancia y su inter\u00e9s como objeto de estudio.  el trabajo se ha estructurado en dos partes: la primera se refiere a la mil\u00edcia provincial del antiguo r\u00e9gimen y en ella se analiza su constituci\u00f3n a partir de la ordenanza del citado a\u00f1o, la puesta en pr\u00e1ctica del sistema, sus dificultades y sus momentos de mayor esplendor.
