Estos algoritmos, despues de obtener los espectros de ambas se\u00f1ales, permiten hallar con la precision que se requiera en cada caso, la medida de distintas magnitudes electricas norealizada hasta ahora.  es tambien posible con este metodo, estudiar y comprobar la conexion existente entre las distintas formulaciones, de las diferentes componentes de la potencia aparente recientemente formulados tanto en el dominio temporal como frecuencial.  asi mismo, el metodo implica la obtencion de las partes real e imaginaria de la admitancia (impedancia) equivalente de la carga dentro del espectro comun de los armonicos de tension e intensidad, con lo que se calculan las susceptancias de compensacion para cada armonico, asi como la intensidad reactiva y componentes armonicos de dicha intensidad con objeto de configurar circuitos mas complejos que compensen individualmente los armonicos que contribuyen de forma significativa a las perdidas en la transmision de la potencia desde el generador a
